Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein chaired the ninth meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Arab Summit, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was held in the presence of the Minister of Culture Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, the Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Mu'ayyad Al-Lami, the Head of the Iraqi Media Network Karim Hammadi, the Head of the Coordination and Protocol Department in the Prime Minister's Office Ali Shamran, and the Director of the Prime Minister's Media Office Rabi' Nader, along with other concerned parties.
The discussions focused on the latest developments regarding the ongoing preparations for hosting the 34th Arab Summit in Baghdad. The attendees reviewed the report from the Media Committee on the summit's content.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the level of readiness in sectors involved in organizing the summit, such as infrastructure, hotel facilities, and logistical services. The objective is to ensure the event is hosted in a manner that reflects Iraq's status and its role in the Arab and regional context.
