Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received a delegation from Hamas movement at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara on Wednesday.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Department stated that the Hamas delegation was headed by the movement’s leadership council chairman, Mohammed Darwish. The meeting was a significant diplomatic engagement, highlighting Turkey’s ongoing relations with the Palestinian organization.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalin, and head of the Presidential Communications Department Fahrettin Altun. Erdogan’s foreign and security policy advisor Akif €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¡atay Kili§ was also present, indicating the importance of the discussions held during the meeting.
