Basra: The detachments of the Ninth Brigade, working with the Energy Police Intelligence, have successfully apprehended an individual accused of attempting to unlawfully enter the northern Rumaila oil field.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior released a statement indicating that the accused was found trying to gain access to the oil field using a forged security permit. Along with his arrest, a vehicle of basin type was confiscated in the Basra Governorate. Subsequently, the individual was transferred to a local police station in the governorate, where legal proceedings are set to commence against him.
