Baghdad: Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, confirmed that the defeated ISIS gangs received painful blows and lost the ability to prove their existence. Al-Muhammadawi chaired an expanded security conference in the Baghdad Operations Command, with the presence of land forces and Baghdad Operations commanders, military intelligence and engineering directors, division commanders from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, formation commanders, representatives of the Popular Mobilization Commission, and commanders of Baghdad Police, Karkh and Rusafa, along with several directors and intelligence officers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Muhammadawi began the conference by conveying greetings from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to the attendees. He emphasized that the security and intelligence efforts have yielded results, as the ISIS terrorist gangs have faced significant setbacks and are struggling to maintain any form of presence or control.
Despite their attempts, they have been unable to take any decisive action to re-establish their existence.

Al-Muhammadawi commended the progress in capacity building and efforts in combating crime and enforcing law. He highlighted the importance of building security institutions through professional work, military discipline, and adherence to the chain of command. He also instructed all units to maximize the use of lessons learned and field experiences, to develop leadership and formations, to activate various types, to avoid ill-considered actions, and to take appropriate precautions for all activities.
