Washington: A Bombardier passenger plane and a Sikorsky helicopter collided near Washington airport, while more than 20 bodies have been recovered so far from the crash site of the two planes.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt stated, “A military helicopter collided with a plane at Reagan International Airport in Washington, DC.”
As a result, aircraft movement was stopped at Reagan Airport, and there is information that there were more than 60 passengers and 4 crew members on board the helicopter. The final number of victims is not yet known, while the US authorities announced the recovery of more than 20 bodies so far from the crash site of the two planes.
