Mosul: Early next month, Mosul will host the activities of the inaugural Nineveh International Film Festival from February 5-7, at the University of Mosul Theater Hall. This event is under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Badrani stated that the festival is a significant step towards restoring Mosul’s international standing among cities that support art and cinema. He emphasized its importance in enhancing Mosul’s role on the global cultural map and reviving cinematic art in the city.
He further noted that the event will attract considerable attention from artists and professionals in the cinema sector, marking a robust beginning towards fostering creativity in this vital field.
