Baghdad: The Federal Police have arrested three suspects on charges of throwing a hand grenade at a commercial store in the Al-Hussainiya area of Baghdad. The suspects were apprehended by a force from the 20th Brigade, Fifth Division of the Federal Police, who acted on intelligence information.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior reported that the quick response from the Federal Police ensured that the incident did not result in any human losses. The grenade was thrown at a motorcycle spare parts store, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The Ministry further disclosed that the suspects were found in possession of a Kalashnikov rifle, two ammunition magazines, and 60 rounds. These items were seized, and the suspects have been referred to the competent authorities for further investigation and legal proceedings.
