Anbar: Security forces arrested two accused of sorcery, in possession of materials for sorcery and witchcraft in Anbar. A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated: “Joint detachments from Al-Jazeera Police Station and the Eleventh Anbar Emergency Regiment within the Anbar Governorate Police Command arrested two accused in their possession of materials for sorcery and witchcraft (talismans), where a formal seizure report was organized on the seized materials and they were detained and legal measures were taken against them.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was carried out by joint efforts of the Al-Jazeera Police Station and the Eleventh Anbar Emergency Regiment. The operation, conducted under the Anbar Governorate Police Command, led to the confiscation of materials allegedly used for sorcery and witchcraft.
