Baghdad: The Military Intelligence Directorate detachments arrested a number of terrorism suspects in Nineveh and Maysan Governorates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a statement that: “With preemptive operations and a distinguished intelligence effort and according to accurate intelligence information, a number of suspects were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law who belong to the so-called ISIS terrorist organization in Al-Baaj District and the city of Mosul, and other suspects with the same legal article in the tribal bench in Al-Majar Al-Kabir District in Maysan Governorate.”

It added: “The suspects were handed over to the competent authorities to take legal action against them.”
