Baghdad: President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid called for working to create an appropriate environment that contributes to attracting national competencies and benefiting from their experiences. The Presidency stated in a statement: “The President met today with a delegation from the Iraqi Advisory Board for Reconstruction and Development in London, headed by Dr. Raouf Al-Ansari.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting discussed developments in the general scene in the country, focusing on the achievements made during the past period, especially in the security file as it is the cornerstone for achieving development and prosperity. The President of the Republic stressed the importance of conveying the true image of Iraq to the world, especially with regard to the developments it is witnessing in the fields of security, construction, and reconstruction, stressing the need to intensify efforts to enhance these aspects and highlight them internationally.
He emphasized the keenness to
provide an appropriate environment to establish justice and guarantee the legal rights of citizens, noting that the Presidency of the Republic contributed to the release of more than 15,000 detainees whose sentences had ended, in commitment to implementing the laws in force and achieving justice.
The President of the Republic called for encouraging scientific and cultural organizations to cooperate with state institutions, and to work to create an appropriate environment that contributes to attracting national competencies and benefiting from their expertise to support reconstruction and development projects. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the partnership between these institutions and competencies within Iraq to achieve a comprehensive renaissance in vital sectors.

ion and benefiting from their experiences gained in developed countries.
