Erbil: Secretary-General of the Badr Organization Hadi Al-Ameri met today, Wednesday, in Erbil Governorate, with President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the two sides reviewed the latest political developments and the general situation in the country, in addition to discussing the common files between the federal government and the region and the path of the relationship in a way that achieves the national interest.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing dialogue and understanding among all parties, and joint work to ensure the stability of the country and resolve outstanding issues in a spirit of cooperation and national partnership. They also discussed the situation in the country and the importance of preserving the unity of the national ranks to face regional and international challenges.

Nechirvan Barzani expressed the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to continue coordination and cooperation with all national forces in Iraq. He stressed the importance of supporting the federal government’s efforts to achieve security and stability, and strengthening the national partnership that serves the interests of all Iraqis.
