Diyala: A foreign truck driver has been arrested at a border crossing east of Baqubah, in Diyala Governorate Center, due to suspected narcotics found in his possession. The arrest was made by a security detachment at the Mandali border crossing with Iran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out with the support of the K9 Administration and Training Department of the Diyala Police. During a routine search of vehicles and individuals, the security team discovered the suspected narcotic substances with the foreign truck driver.

Legal measures have been initiated against the driver, and he has been detained by the competent security authorities. Additionally, the truck was seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
