Baghdad: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, engaged in discussions regarding bilateral relations and their development with Janet Alberda, the Dutch Ambassador to Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the House of Representatives highlighted that the meeting focused on the overall relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The discussions aimed at exploring ways to enhance these relations and activate friendship committees to benefit the two nations.

The statement further mentioned that the meeting also included discussions on regional developments from both political and economic perspectives. The dialogue addressed the repercussions of the current situation in the Middle East and its impact on countries in the region as well as globally.
