Oil Prices Recover 1% to End the Week Flat

New York: Oil prices recovered about 1% on Friday evening at the settlement, ending the week almost unchanged. Brent crude futures rose 70 cents, or 1%, to settle at $70.58 a barrel, after falling 1.5% in the previous session. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude reached $67.18 a barrel, up 63 cents, or 1%, after closing down 1.7% on Thursday. According to National Iraqi News Agency, both benchmarks ended the week little changed from the previous week, when Brent crude ended the session at $70.36 a barrel and WTI crude at $67.04.
