Baghdad: The Civil Status, Passports and Residence Directorate has announced the deportation of 26 individuals who were found to be violating Iraqi residency laws through Baghdad International Airport.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate revealed in a statement that the deportations were carried out by personnel from the Residency Affairs Directorate. This action followed extensive efforts to track down and prosecute individuals who were found in breach of Iraqi residency regulations.
The Directorate has called on citizens to assist in maintaining national security by reporting any residency law violations and discouraging the harboring of violators.
