Baghdad: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a presidential statement highlighted that during the meeting, the leaders discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and current developments in the region.
