Washington: US President Donald Trump announced that negotiations regarding a ceasefire proposal in Ukraine are not easy. Trump stated, "We are doing a good job on the Ukrainian crisis, and I am communicating with Putin to end the war." He explained that Ukraine has agreed to the 30-day truce proposal, and efforts are underway to convince Putin.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump noted that Russia is besieging a large number of Ukrainian soldiers, describing the fighting unit as incredible. He remarked, "We were on the verge of World War III because of nuclear weapons, but things are better now."

Trump indicated that he is in communication with both Russia and Ukraine to end the war, highlighting that $350 billion has been spent to confront the crisis in Ukraine. He also mentioned that Biden was the one who allowed the war to break out in Ukraine, but expressed optimism about reaching an agreement. "We have received positive responses from Russia regarding ending the war in Ukraine," Trump added.
