Syrian Foreign Minister Concludes Visit to Baghdad

Baghdad: Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Sheibani concluded his short official visit to the capital, Baghdad, which he departed late Friday evening, returning to Damascus.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sheibani shared details of his visit on the X platform, expressing satisfaction after a busy day of meetings. His engagements included discussions with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, President Abdul Latif Rashid, Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani, Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, Head of General Intelligence Hamid, and National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji.

Al-Sheibani's visit aimed to reinforce the diplomatic relations between Syria and Iraq, focusing on mutual interests and regional cooperation. The meetings underscored the commitment to collaboration on various fronts, reflecting the enduring ties between the two nations.
