Safwan: The Border Ports Authority announced the arrest of two foreigners and the seizure of 1,500 stimulant injections in their possession at Safwan Customs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Safwan Border Port Directorate, through concerted efforts in thoroughly inspecting all vehicles, goods, and people, successfully apprehended two foreign travelers. They were found with suitcases containing 1,500 stimulant injections of human medicine, which they were attempting to smuggle into Kuwait.

The statement from the Authority revealed that a committee was formed in cooperation with the Customs Center, and a formal seizure report was prepared. The vehicle, medicines, and the accused were referred to the Safwan Customs Police Station for appropriate legal action against the violators.
