Diyala: Police forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle quantities of black oil east of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, Director of Media for the Diyala Police, stated that a Diyala Police force seized a tanker loaded with 36,000 liters of black oil, ready for smuggling.

He further explained that legal measures were taken, and the truck along with its driver was sent to the competent authority for further action.
