Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized that the story of martyred hero Harith al-Sudani deserves global documentation, highlighting the sacrifice and devotion that secured Iraq’s security and stability.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a meeting on Sunday evening with the family of Harith Abdul Ali Al-Sudani, the Prime Minister acknowledged the hero’s infiltration into ISIS ranks. The meeting also included members of the TV series “Al-Naqeeb,” which portrays the martyr’s life, alongside the Drama Support Grant Committee. Al-Sudani pointed out the state’s role in showcasing the heroism and injustices faced by Iraqis throughout history, including their battles against dictatorship and terrorism.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of documenting the heroic deeds of Iraqis, particularly those in the security forces, for future generations. He expressed that the TV series “Al-Naqeeb” should be a starting point for systematic documentation of such valorous acts.
Al-Sudani’s media office released a statement in which he praised the Drama Support Grant Committee and the series crew for their professional production. He reiterated the government’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of Iraqis across all sects by building the state, fostering economic development, and ensuring security and stability throughout Iraq.
