National Security Advisor Visits Qanbar Ali Shrine in Baghdad


Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji visited Qanbar Ali shrine in Rusafa district of Baghdad on Saturday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji was briefed on the shrine’s historical landmarks and the important era it represents in the history of the Islamic nation. As part of his tour of Qanbar Ali district of Baghdad, al-Araji also visited the tomb of Sheikh Ishaq Ja’un, who was the treasurer of the treasury.



During the visit, al-Araji distributed copies of the Holy Qur’an to the visitors, recalling with them the value and importance of these important monuments, which reflect an era in the history of Iraq and the Islamic nation.
