Trump’s Caution to Iran: Embrace Peace or Face Consequences

Tehran: Iranian sources have disclosed the contents of a letter from US President Donald Trump to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, following Tehran’s announcement of its official response to the communication.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the letter, shared by the Director of the Arab Center for Iranian Studies, Muhammad Saleh Sedgian, on the X platform, begins with Trump addressing Khamenei with respect and emphasizing the potential to redefine US-Iran relations. Trump expressed a desire to move beyond past conflicts and open a new chapter of cooperation and mutual respect.

Trump outlined the United States’ readiness to pursue peace and reduce tensions, highlighting the possibility of lifting sanctions and fostering economic empowerment in Iran. He warned, however, that a rejection of this offer could lead to a decisive response from the US if Iran continues its support for terrorism and military activities. Trump stressed that the US would not ignore threats to its people or allies.

The letter concluded with Trump urging for negotiation and warning that missing this chance could lead to further isolation and hardship for the Iranian people. He emphasized that peace is a strong choice and that the Iranian people deserve a future free from poverty and suffering.
