Damascus: The US Embassy in Damascus has issued an urgent call for American citizens in Syria to leave the country immediately, citing the precarious security situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Embassy emphasized the importance of avoiding gatherings, demonstrations, and large crowds. The statement also confirmed that American citizens requiring emergency assistance can reach out to the US Interests Section located at the Embassy of the Czech Republic.
