Amara: A citizen was killed today after being shot by unknown gunmen in the industrial district of central Amara, the capital of Maysan Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source stated that the gunmen opened fire on the victim and fled to an unknown destination. Security forces rushed to the scene and opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the crime and the parties involved.
