London: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari and his accompanying delegation met with his British counterpart, Yvette Cooper, in the United Kingdom, in the presence of a number of British figures and leaders.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during this meeting, the ongoing preparations for the Border Security Summit, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Monday, in the United Kingdom, were discussed, with the attendance of interior ministers from more than 35 countries and international organizations. The meeting also addressed a number of topics of common interest, most notably the exchange of information in the field of combating terrorism, organized crime, and human trafficking.
