Moscow: Russia announced on Thursday that its air defense systems destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones overnight over the Kursk and Rostov regions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated, “Air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 93 Ukrainian drones overnight, 87 of which were over the Kursk region, four over the Rostov region, and two over the Belgorod region.”
Meanwhile, an official in the Kursk region reported that a Ukrainian drone attack overnight forced at least 60 people to evacuate their homes when drone debris fell on a residential building in the city, not far from the border with Ukraine. Acting Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein communicated via Telegram, “As a result of an enemy drone attack on Kursk, a residential building in the city center was damaged.”
