Diwaniyah: The coordination committee for the strike of government employees in Diwaniyah has announced that a strike will take place on Sunday. This action is being taken in response to the failure to implement the new salary scale.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, member of the Coordination Committee, Ahmed Raad, stated that the strike is a result of the relevant authorities not implementing the salary scale and failing to increase salaries and allowances uniformly. The employees are demanding that the authorities address these issues promptly to ensure fair compensation across all government sectors.
