Ankara: The Turkish capital, Ankara, witnessed mass demonstrations on Sunday in front of the US Embassy, protesting the continued Israeli attacks and genocide in the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators raised Palestinian and Turkish flags and banners bearing slogans such as "Free Palestine from the river to the sea," "No to American imperialism and no to the Zionist occupation," and "Gaza for the people of Gaza." They also chanted slogans like, "Here (the US Embassy) is a hotbed of criminals," "A thousand salutes to Hamas, Gaza, and the resistance," and "Israel is a terrorist, America is a terrorist."

In a speech on behalf of the gathered crowd, Tayyar Tirjan, one of the organizers of the demonstration, stated that the entire world is witnessing the genocide of the Palestinian people without intervention and accused the Israeli entity of committing new massacres in Gaza daily. He emphasized that "the time has come to act and take the necessary steps to stop the genocide, no matter the cost."

Meanwhile, Diyarbakir province in southeastern Turkey also witnessed an anti-Israel march in response to the ongoing situation in Gaza. Several grassroots organizations participated in the march, which extended from the Kayapinar area to the July 15 Martyrs' Park. The marchers carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans against Israel and the crimes it has been committing for months in Gaza.
