Israeli Helicopters Strike Near Lebanese Army Post in Naqoura


Naqoura: Israeli Apache helicopters conducted a raid near a Lebanese army post in the Naqoura area, south of the country, as reported by Western media on Sunday evening. The helicopters fired several missiles targeting a prefabricated house near a Lebanese army checkpoint in the town.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, ambulance teams were dispatched immediately to the site following the attack. This incident marked the second raid by Israeli Apache helicopters on Naqoura within an hour. The helicopters were observed flying over the sea off the coast of Naqoura, triggering air raid sirens at the UNIFIL headquarters in the area.



Further reports indicated that an Israeli drone deployed three sound bombs toward a prefabricated room in the town of Aita al-Shaab, located in southern Lebanon. In addition, Israeli helicopters were seen flying over the central sector of southern Lebanon, heightening tensions in the region.
