Najaf: Najaf Governor Yousef Gnawi received a group of protesting teacher workers on Monday, where he listened to their demands and needs. He affirmed his full support for providing all means of support to the education sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Governor’s media office emphasized in a statement the importance of improving the educational situation in the governorate, noting that the local administration has approved the sectoral design for the lands of teaching and educational staff, a step aimed at meeting one of their most prominent demands.

Gnawi stressed his commitment to following up on these demands with the relevant authorities to ensure their implementation as soon as possible, which will contribute to improving the working conditions of teacher workers and raising the level of educational services in Najaf.

He emphasized that the local government is committed to achieving the interests of citizens and always seeks to meet their needs in cooperation with relevant authorities.
