Baghdad: Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called on Monday to confront challenges with national unity and a logic of moderation and centrism. A statement by his office highlighted his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Jihad and Construction Movement, Jawad Rahim al-Saadi, during which they reminisced about their shared efforts in combating dictatorship, confronting terrorism, and building a modern Iraqi state.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim emphasized the significance of maintaining communication among political forces with a history of struggle, urging the introduction of new generations to the era’s heroes, symbols, and leaders. In discussing Iraq’s political landscape and regional issues, he reiterated the necessity of confronting challenges through national unity and a balanced approach.

Furthermore, Al-Hakim addressed the economic challenges posed by fluctuating oil prices, advocating for economic diversification, activation of productive sectors, and support for national products to mitigate associated damages.
