Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that Israel’s attempts to alter the regional map will not succeed, urging Israel to cease its actions in Gaza and adhere to a ceasefire.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan made these remarks during a meeting of his Justice and Development Party in Ankara. He stated that exacerbating the situation in Gaza, expanding the conflict, and pursuing territorial changes with expansionist aims would not be advantageous for anyone involved.

Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s commitment to opposing oppressive actions and highlighted Turkey’s resilience against pressure from global influences. He also mentioned his intention to discuss the situation in Gaza with international leaders at the upcoming Antalya Diplomatic Forum, aiming to explore possible measures to address the conflict.

The Turkish President criticized the actions in Gaza, describing them as war crimes, citing examples of attacks on ambulances and medical personnel. Erdogan affirmed Turkey’s unwavering support for the people in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon, emphasizing Turkey’s commitment to standing by Syrians until their country achieves stability.
