Gaza: The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that the number of Palestinian journalist martyrs has risen to 211 since the beginning of the war of extermination on Gaza, following the death of journalist Ahmed Mansour, who succumbed to his severe injuries yesterday, Monday, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a journalists’ tent in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office in Gaza stated in a statement on Tuesday that colleague Ahmed Mansour, who works for the Palestine News Agency, died today after suffering severe burns on Monday when Israeli enemy aircraft targeted a journalists’ tent near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in the death of journalist Hilmi al-Faqawi.

The Media Office condemned “in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation’s targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists,” calling on “the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of A
rab Journalists, and all journalistic bodies in all countries of the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.”

The Media Office in Gaza held “the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and countries complicit in the crime of genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for committing this heinous, brutal crime.”

The Office also called on “the international community, international organizations, and organizations involved in journalistic and media work in all countries of the world to condemn the crimes of the occupation, deter it, prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and bring the occupation’s criminals to justice.”
