Baghdad Operations Command Arrests Suspects with Narcotic Pills and Unlicensed Weapons


Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Command announced today the arrest of several suspects, including three foreigners, and the seizure of a quantity of narcotic pills in their possession during the past 48 hours.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated that the suspects included three foreign nationals who violated residency and citizenship requirements. Additionally, authorities seized a quantity of narcotic pills from these individuals. Other suspects were arrested for possessing unlicensed weapons and ammunition, as well as for promoting and using narcotic substances.



Furthermore, the Command reported the seizure of several vehicles and motorcycles that were violating traffic regulations on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa. These actions were part of a broader effort to enhance security and stability and to prevent any attempts to compromise the safety of citizens across the capital over the past 48 hours.
