Baghdad: President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, commemorated the martyrdom of Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his sister, Alawiya Bint al-Huda, along with the fall of the tyrannical regime.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President stated in a tweet on the X website that on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his sister, Alawiya Bint al-Huda, on the day of the fall of tyranny, he proudly recalls the stance of the martyr al-Sadr in confronting the dictatorship. This dictatorship led the country into wars, conflicts, and measures against the Iraqis.

On this occasion, the President emphasized the importance of strengthening the democratic experience in the country. He stressed the need to preserve national achievements and work together to ensure that past tragedies are not repeated. The President urged a collective effort towards building a future where all Iraqis live in security and peace.
