Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has launched the implementation works of three hospital projects through a video conference.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office announced the commencement of these projects aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure across various regions.

The projects include a specialized hospital for treating children’s cancers with a capacity of 150 beds in the Medical City in Baghdad. Additionally, a 100-bed hospital is set to be established in the Al-Haidariya district of Najaf Governorate, along with another 100-bed facility in the Al-Majar Al-Kabir district of Maysan Governorate. These initiatives mark a significant step in improving medical services and accessibility for the residents of these areas.
