Kuwait City: The Minister of Finance stressed the importance of strengthening Arab financial cooperation and exchanging expertise among countries.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Finance highlighted the Minister’s participation in the joint annual meetings of Arab financial institutions held in the State of Kuwait. The meetings were attended by a number of Finance Ministers and Governors of Central Banks from Arab countries. The discussions centered on supporting economic development and enhancing financial and investment integration, as well as reviewing financial performance reports and economic indicators of the relevant bodies.
The statement further mentioned that during the opening session, the Minister emphasized the necessity of reinforcing Arab financial cooperation and the exchange of expertise among countries. He noted Iraq’s aim to deepen economic partnerships and finance priority projects. Additionally, Iraq’s participation at the event was said to reflect the government’s commitment to showcasing its economic initiatives, achieving balance in financial relations with Arab countries, and leveraging the experiences of other countries to develop local financial policies.
Participants in the meetings echoed the importance of exchanging expertise and sharing successful experiences to boost investments and activate cooperation among member states.
