Israeli Army Strikes 35 Targets in Gaza, Eliminates Hamas Commander


Gaza: The Israeli army has confirmed that it has struck 35 “armed targets” in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, including sniper and reconnaissance positions. The operation also resulted in the assassination of the commander of Hamas’s Shujaiya Brigade.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) revealed in a statement that their forces continued operations in the Gaza Strip, destroying numerous infrastructure facilities. The air force was involved in targeting around 35 armed sites across the region.



The statement detailed that troops from the 36th Division were active in the Rafah area and the Morag axis, working to establish operational control. Forces from the Gaza Division continued operations in the Tel al-Sultan area and the al-Shabura neighborhood in Rafah, where they demolished several infrastructure facilities and tunnel openings leading to key infrastructure.



The attacked targets included armed elements, infrastructure, sniper positions, and reconnaissance sites identified as direct threats.
