Presidency Pledges Support for Rights of Faili Kurdish Community


Baghdad: The Presidency of the Republic reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to support the rights of the Faili Kurdish community. President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid made this announcement during the annual memorial ceremony commemorating Faili Martyr’s Day and the fall of the Ba’ath Party.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid highlighted the historical injustices faced by the Faili Kurdish community, mentioning the oppression and tyranny they endured. He emphasized the need for corrective measures, pointing out that certain unjust decisions by the Revolutionary Command Council remain in force and require annulment and replacement to address past grievances.



President Rashid reiterated the Presidency’s ongoing readiness to advocate for the rights of the Faili Kurdish community, emphasizing the importance of addressing these long-standing issues to ensure justice and equality for this community.
