Amman: The Jordanian Army announced today that an unidentified drone entered the country’s airspace and subsequently crashed over the Ma’in area in Madaba Governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that the drone’s falling shrapnel led to a fire in the forested area where it crashed. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. The source further mentioned that specialized teams from the Armed Forces, along with Civil Defense teams, were deployed to extinguish the fire and have commenced an investigation at the accident site.
