Erbil: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has affirmed the government’s success in confronting various internal and external crises. A statement from his media office highlighted his meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, in Erbil on Saturday. During their discussions, they addressed several national issues and the most prominent regional and international developments, as well as the government’s stance on the challenges facing the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement emphasized the importance of partnership and coordination in tackling challenges and adopting a balanced policy based on cooperation and mutual interests with brotherly and friendly countries. Al-Sudani remarked on the government’s ability to shoulder its responsibilities amidst the ongoing changes and events in the region, reiterating the commitment to developing the national economy and establishing stability across the country.

The meeting also focused on the need to work towards solutions for common issues and to remove obstacles in line with the constitution and the law, ensuring justice and benefits for all Iraqis.
