Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, met with Hadi al-Amiri, Chairman of the Executive Committee for Article 140 of the Constitution. During their meeting, they focused on accelerating the implementation of the law intended to repeal the decisions made by the now-dissolved Revolutionary Command Council.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Abdullah’s office highlighted that the discussions also covered various political and security issues that are pertinent on national, regional, and international levels. Additionally, the meeting addressed recent events impacting the region.
