Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron discussed with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, ways to strengthen relations between France and Iraq, in addition to discussing developments in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Macron met with Nechirvan Barzani, who is currently visiting France, on Monday. The two sides stressed their mutual desire to develop bilateral relations in various fields and emphasized the importance of preserving Iraq’s security and stability and keeping it away from regional tensions.
