Sulaymaniyah: The American University of Iraq – Sulaymaniyah is set to host the ninth Sulaymaniyah Forum today and tomorrow, featuring the participation of numerous local and international figures. Both the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani are scheduled to deliver speeches at the event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, senior officials from the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, neighboring countries, and other parts of the world will also take part in the forum. The discussions are expected to cover a range of pressing issues, including the upcoming Iraqi elections, regional political dynamics, and the connection between internal changes and broader regional and international developments.

Among the key topics for the dialogue sessions are the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, the impact of changes in the global order, and the roles of Iran, Iraq, and the Levant. Additionally, the forum will explore the economies of Middle Eastern countries and the implications of developments in northeastern Syria on Iraq and the forthcoming Iraqi elections.

The forum is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
