Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has confirmed the government's commitment to initiating a range of projects in the Kirkuk Governorate. This announcement forms part of a wider effort to implement projects across all governorates, aiming to address various local needs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister's media office released a statement detailing a meeting between Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha Mustafa. The discussion centered on the security, economic, and service conditions currently prevailing in the governorate.

The statement further noted that the meeting included a comprehensive review of service provision and development projects. These projects are planned for all districts and sub-districts of Kirkuk, aligning with the broader government program. Al-Sudani emphasized the government's determination to launch multiple initiatives in Kirkuk, which are part of a broader package of projects across the nation. He reiterated the commitment to maximizing efforts to meet citizens' needs, enhance service quality, and boost the economic landscape within the governorate.
