Ankara: The Turkish Presidency's Communications Directorate has firmly denied reports suggesting that Turkey dispatched six planes loaded with weapons to Pakistan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Presidency's Communications Directorate issued a statement on Monday addressing the circulating allegations. The statement declared that the claims about Turkey sending six weapons-laden aircraft to Pakistan are "completely untrue."

The Directorate clarified that only one transport plane had departed from Turkey, landing in Pakistan solely for refueling purposes as part of its pre-planned route.

The Presidency urged caution against accepting news and reports not supported by official statements from the relevant authorities. It highlighted the importance of not being swayed by "false and misleading news and allegations," underscoring the necessity of relying on verified information.
