Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Commander recently chaired an expanded conference involving sheikhs, tribal leaders, and mukhtars from the Sabaa al-Bour sub-district, situated near Al-Karkh. This meeting marks a significant step in fostering communication between the Operations Command and various segments of Baghdadi society.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference was part of an initiative by the Baghdad Operations Command to engage with local communities. It was attended by key figures, including the Major General, Chief of Staff of the Command, several staff officers, the mayor of Taji district, and directors of administrative units. The primary focus of the gathering was to enhance security and stability in the region, preserve existing security achievements, and address both security and service-related challenges faced by citizens.

The statement released by the Command highlighted the crucial role of tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, and mukhtars in supporting security forces. Their involvement is seen as essential in preventing any attempts to disrupt the safety and security of the community. The conference also emphasized the need for coordination with relevant administrative units and government departments to remove obstacles hindering citizen welfare.
