Saada: Yemeni media reports indicate that US airstrikes have targeted a detention center in Saada Governorate, located in northern Yemen, resulting in the deaths of dozens of inmates. The center was housing African migrants at the time of the attack.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Yemen's Al Masirah TV detailed the incident, stating that the airstrikes hit a facility that sheltered 115 inmates. The report confirmed that a significant number of these individuals were killed in the assault. Rescue operations are currently underway, with ambulance teams from the Yemeni Red Crescent and Civil Defense working to retrieve victims from the debris.

The report further highlighted that over 50 injured individuals have been transported to the Republican Hospital Authority, with many in critical condition. The emergency response has faced challenges due to the extensive destruction caused by the bombing.

Al Masirah TV later updated that 30 bodies have been recovered from the site, as efforts by Civil Defense and Red Crescent teams continue.

In response to the incident, the Yemeni Ministry of Interior issued a statement condemning the attack, emphasizing that the detention center was under the oversight of the International Organization for Migration and the Red Cross. The ministry labeled the airstrikes a "full-fledged war crime" and asserted that the US administration holds full responsibility for the attack on African migrants.
