Umm Qasr: Umm Qasr Naval Base conducted a joint search and rescue exercise with the US, British, and Kuwaiti navies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a Ministry of Defense statement said: "In implementation of the directives of the authorities and the commander of the naval forces, and under the direct supervision of the commander of the Umm Qasr Naval Base, and within the framework of joint military cooperation between Iraq and friendly forces, the Naval Force Command conducted a joint search and rescue exercise in international waters, with the participation of the US, British, and Kuwaiti navies."

According to the statement, the Iraqi side participated in the exercise with the P-312 patrol boat, belonging to the 2nd Patrol Boat Battalion, 1st Marine Brigade - Umm Qasr Naval Base. A Kuwaiti patrol boat, an American patrol boat, and a British patrol boat also participated.

According to the statement, this joint exercise is an important exercise for developing skills and exchanging expertise between the participating parties, as it enhanced coordination capabilities and preparedness for search and rescue operations.

At the conclusion of the exercise, the participants praised the outstanding performance and high professionalism demonstrated by the Iraqi Navy, commending the readiness and expertise of the heroes of the Iraqi Naval Forces Command, and their individual skills in protecting Iraqi territorial waters.
